crEATe has turned two years now. Despite the challenging circumstances caused by the on-going pandemic, crEATe has also been active in 2020!
The focus in 2020 has been sustainability, which was reflected on crEATe webinar organised in November. We had inspiring talks related various dimensions of the sustainability ranging from practical applications of carbon footprint information in food service to data-based solutions to reduce environmental impact of food system. In addition, the sustainability theme was manifested in reusable packaging pilot carried out in TestEat research restaurant.
Highlights in 2020
- 1 crEATe event with 28 companies and organisations
- 4 projects were under development out of which two are already on-going
- 1 pilot project was executed at the TestEat Research Restaurant
- 4 blogs and news were published in @createfood.fi
crEATing during 2021
Sustainability will remain our focus theme in 2021. However, we will not forget the other two important themes: people’s vitality and customer experience. In addition, three new projects have been confirmed for 2021 and more will follow during the year!
